 PVCI’s Corresponding Secretary and the person who helps keep the club connected, informed, and organized.

Ray plays an important role in managing club correspondence, helping communicate with members, supporters, sponsors, and community partners. Whether it is sending out important information, responding to inquiries, preparing letters, or helping coordinate communications for upcoming events, Ray works behind the scenes to make sure the right message gets to the right people.

His responsibilities include assisting with official club correspondence, maintaining communication with members and outside organizations, supporting event-related messaging, and helping PVCI present a professional and welcoming voice to the community.

Phoenix Varmint Callers, Inc. (PVCI) is an Arizona-based organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditions, skills, ethics, and camaraderie of predator hunting and wildlife conservation.

For generations, PVCI has brought together hunters who share a passion for the outdoors and a desire to continually improve their knowledge and skills. From experienced predator callers to people taking their first steps into the sport, PVCI provides a welcoming environment where members can learn from one another, exchange experiences, and build lasting friendships.

Education is an important part of PVCI's mission. Through club meetings, field activities, our annual Predator Hunting Boot Camp, and other programs, members have opportunities to learn about predator calling techniques, equipment, scouting, firearm safety, wildlife identification, hunting ethics, and responsible hunting practices.

PVCI is about much more than hunting. The organization believes strongly in community, conservation, education, and giving back. Throughout the year, members volunteer their time and experience to support club programs, special hunts, community activities, fundraising events, and opportunities that introduce others to Arizona's outdoor heritage.

Our members come from different backgrounds and experience levels, but they're connected by a common appreciation for Arizona's wildlife, wild places, and hunting traditions.

Newsletter Assistant  

PVCI’s official Newsletter Assistant and self-proclaimed expert on predator hunting, breaking news, and questionable editorial decisions.

Wile E takes great pride in helping gather stories, track down club news, and make sure every edition of the PVCI Newsletter has plenty of excitement. Armed with a typewriter, an endless supply of ideas, and the occasional package from ACME, Wile E is always working on his next big story.

His responsibilities include chasing down articles, sniffing out club news, checking hunting reports, reminding people about upcoming events, and occasionally explaining why the newsletter deadline went flying off a cliff.

Steve is PVCI’s resident Top Chef and the man behind many of the delicious meals enjoyed at our events and gatherings. Whether he’s cooking for a crowd or keeping everyone well-fed during a PVCI activity, Steve brings his culinary skills, enthusiasm, and good humor to the table.

Known for cooking just about anything—and cooking it well—Steve has become an important part of the fellowship that makes PVCI events special. And if you ever get the chance, don’t pass up his biscuits and gravy—they’re definitely a PVCI favorite!

Larry is PVCI’s go-to guy for banners, signs, and helping make sure everyone knows where they need to be. Whether he’s preparing signage for an event, helping with setup, or simply lending a hand wherever it’s needed, Larry is always willing to step up and support the club.

Known as an all-around good guy with a great sense of humor, Larry helps keep our events organized and running smoothly. And when you’re not quite sure where to go, you can always count on Larry to point you in the right direction and say, “Here’s your sign!”
